Kilkenny Grey Sandstone is a local Irish Stone, quarried in Kilkenny. This stone has a variety of grey and brown shades running through it. This product is split and guillotined, giving the stone a nice square sharp shape. Each stone will vary in size and length. This ads to the character, and to create specific styles, your stone mason can work this stone to your specific needs.
Kilkenny Grey Sandstone is sold in tonne bags, and 1 tonne bag will cover around 3-3.5m2. Again this will vary depending on your job and how much the stone needs to be worked. Each bag is split to work as 4 inches in depth.
Kilkenny Sandstone is perfect to use with either a wet or a dry joint. This will completely change the style of your home. Dry joints are also becoming very popular for internal use, and this stone is perfect for use in these internal areas.
