Q: Is porcelain paving suitable for outdoor use in Ireland?
Yes, porcelain paving is an excellent choice for outdoor use in Ireland. It’s non-porous, frost-resistant, and highly durable, making it ideal for wet and changeable weather conditions.
Q: How does porcelain paving compare to natural stone?
Porcelain paving offers the look of natural stone with added benefits: it’s stain-resistant, low-maintenance, and won’t fade over time. Unlike natural stone, it doesn’t need sealing and is easier to clean.
Q: Do porcelain paving slabs need sealing?
No, one of the biggest advantages of porcelain paving is that it does not require sealing. Its non-porous surface prevents moisture absorption, which helps resist stains, moss, and algae. It does however require a primer before installing & grout for the joints.
