Description
Sawn Kilkenny Limestone Paving
This finish highlights the natural unrefined appearance that results from diamond frame-sawing. Light-grey in colour, the saw-marks remain clearly visible on the face. This ready-rough finish is suitable for a multitude of uses.
As the name suggests Kilkenny Limestone is created and quarried in our own Irish climate and so is very durable to our weather conditions. This is a non-porous stone which means moisture will not absorb into the stone, making it very easy to maintain. Stone sealers are also available for extra protection.
Kilkenny Limestone material is also available in a variety of other complimenting products to tie in well with flamed paving. Some of these products include the following.
- Wall Capping
- Steps
- Kerbs
- Windowsills

Our suggestions are as follows:
- Wash you patio are 2/3 times a year, especially in the Autumn when leaves fall off the trees around your patio area.
- Sweep your patio regularly. Do not let leaves sit on your patio for any prolonged period of time as they can stain the surface of any paving material.
- Clean your patio after dinner parties or events where food or other materials may be left as they can cause damage. This is particularly the case for BBQ’s when grease can fall from the grill or plates and damage natural stone materials.
- Use a cleaner at least once annually. You can purchase cleaning materials and tools from Harding Stoneyard. For Kilkenny Limestone we recommend All In One Cleaner. This is a great product and great value as it is diluted down to cover large areas.
