Devon White Porcelain paving is an excellent product for those looking to lighten up their patio or garden area. This is a Portuguese porcelain product and comes in square tiles, 600mm x 600mm in size. Porcelain is a man-made product, and it is manufactures to a high standard and quality. Unlike many natural stone products, it is non-porous. This means that it is designed to not let moisture soak in through the surface. This makes the paving slabs great for maintenance and cleaning. It will stop dirt from absorbing in to the top of the slabs. This is particularity beneficial for areas with lots of greenery, trees or pets.
Although these paving slabs are designed to not absorb dirt it is important to keep them well maintained to make sure they are kept clean and last you a long time. We recommend cleaning your patio area a few times a year with a power washer. Ideally this should be done in winter after leaves have fallen, and in spring towards summer time. Additional cleaning is also recommended as often as necessary. This will depend on how much traffic your areas sees and the surrounding areas. Devon White Porcelain comes with any slip surface which is great for families with small kids. Extra safety always goes a long way. The surface has scratch resistant finish so give extra protection from furniture or BBQs in the summer season.
